Louie’s Building
The design for the Louie’s Building facade renovation draws inspiration from steampunk, where metal gears and other intricate mechanisms are exposed. Metal structural members that are painted black, outline the top section of the facade with exposed connection bolts. Dark wooden vertical and horizontal slats fill the space in between. Custom light fixtures along the front facade reference the gas lanterns found in historic cities. This facade upgrade helps transform the streetscape of the busy area near MacEwan University into a more friendly, walkable environment.
